Bringing Toys to Life (CES2018)

A great surprise to see CEREVO attending CES. As a company that specializes in connected devices, their product line has always been small – ranging from smart desk lamps, to Interactive miniature robotics, and even cosplay props. All three of these items don't seem to have anything in common, but leave it to CEREVO to pack technology in unexpected ways.

Dominator

They've displayed a most of their “toys” (toys being a word I'm using very loosely) at their booth this year. The Dominator being one of their older products, still showcases some very impressive features. It has over 217 full color LEDs, integrated camera, a full sensor array for left and right grip, built in speakers that can be connected via app, and fully motorized gears to give an authentic 1-1 feel.

The Elucidator

Their centerpiece item had to have been the Elucidator. They've had a rep fully cosplaying as a character from the anime “Sword Art Online” demoing a sword that takes everything from the Dominator and puts it on steroids.

It's essentially a extremely sophisticated light saber with full voice activated control, 6 axis, touch, and gyro sensors! You think the Dominator had a lot of LEDs in it? The Elucidator has over 2000. It's fully programmable with sound effects via Mobile App and has a water vaporizer for added effect.

A MSRP has not been set for the Elucidator, but according to the rep I spoke with the target is anywhere fro $600-$900 dollars! Considering it has more sensors than the HTC Vive, that's a pretty average price.
